West Coast Church Planting Collective exists to identify, prepare, and support leaders who are called to plant healthy, gospel-centered churches throughout California.
We are building a collaborative network of church planters, established churches, ministry leaders, coaches, and financial partners who share a vision for reaching communities across the state.
California Is More Than a Location.
It’s a Mission Field.
California is home to millions of people from different cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life. Its cities and communities continue to grow and change, yet many people remain disconnected from a healthy local church.
We believe new churches can bring lasting gospel presence into communities where relationships are formed, disciples are made, leaders are developed, and future churches are planted.
West Coast Church Planting Collective is being built to help make that possible.
Who We Serve
Prospective Church Planters
We help leaders explore their calling, evaluate their readiness, and prepare for the realities of planting a church in California.
Established Churches
We invite healthy churches to become sending churches, financial partners, prayer partners, residency hosts, and sources of encouragement for future church planters.
Ministry Leaders and Coaches
Experienced pastors and ministry leaders can provide coaching, wisdom, accountability, and care for those entering church planting.
Financial and Prayer Partners
Individuals and organizations can help build the foundation needed to assess, train, prepare, and support church planters throughout California.
A Clear Path From Calling to Church Planting
Explore
We begin with conversations about calling, ministry experience, theology, leadership, and the community a prospective planter feels led to serve.
Assess
Church planting requires both calling and readiness. Our assessment process is designed to help identify strengths, development needs, and the next appropriate steps.
Prepare
Planters receive coaching, leadership development, strategic planning, fundraising guidance, and support as they prepare to enter their community.
Plant
We help planters build strong foundations, develop healthy teams, form ministry partnerships, and move toward establishing a new local church.
Multiply
The goal is not simply to launch a church. It is to establish healthy churches that make disciples, develop leaders, serve their communities, and participate in planting more churches.

Planting a church requires more than a vision and a launch date. It requires spiritual maturity, preparation, coaching, financial support, healthy relationships, and a community of people committed to walking alongside the planter.
Our goal is to help create that support system.
We work to connect qualified church planters with the relationships, training, resources, and encouragement they need to establish healthy churches throughout California.
